SPEAKER_02:

It's a beautiful day, you know. We just dropped the real Mark Anthony out now everywhere. You know what I'm saying? Go stream that. Go fuck with that. Niggas work hard, man. Put out a classic, for real. So we excited, man. I appreciate you.

SPEAKER_03:

Probably last time we had you guys on... Shit, which one album was that one? The No Room for Hate? No, Ain't No Fairytales, Drop, Vowels in Between, Ain't No Fairytales. That's the second one. I'm tripping. Which one? The No Room for Hate. That's the first one. That's the first. I'm tripping. Oh, shit. Okay, okay. So Ain't No Fairytales, right? Yeah, Ain't No Fairytales. It was right when we just had started working on Endophonic. Yeah, we just had started working on Endophonic. That's what it was. Yeah, that's when we talked together. I think it was 2023. So how you guys feel now, man? I think you guys, what, second album together now, right? Yeah, second album together. How do you guys feel like that chemistry is now, like, progressed? Man, honestly, shoot, bro. It feels like... So 2023, Jason had came home. Yeah. He lived in New York. And at this point, it's about, like, two years working nonstop. Yeah. Literally nonstop. So, like, looking back at it, we've evolved and grown so much together. But in the moment, it really doesn't, like, it feels like we're just doing what we're supposed to do. You know what I'm saying? It just feels like every day. It just feels like, yeah, exactly. You know? So yeah, but Jason could probably speak on it. How you feel about it, man? Damn, I'm already faded. What was the question again? I know you and Marcus have been working now for like two years straight now. I know even before this, off mic, you were talking about how you guys were in the studio last night. How do you guys feel like your relationship has progressed? Yeah, man. I mean, fuck, dude.

SPEAKER_02:

We both have the same passion. We both share the same passion, the same love for music. So it makes it easy. It made it easy to link up. And, you know, we kicked it as homies. You know what I'm saying? All this sports, working now, da, da, da. But it's different. It's different when you're creating with your friend. You know what I'm saying? Like, it's just like, so that two-year process since I've been back, it's been life-changing, bro, for real. And it means a lot because you're doing it with your brother. You know what I'm saying? It makes it easy. Yo, nigga, pull up. Fuck you doing? Like, you know, it don't matter where you at, what you're doing. You already have that connection, that rapport. Yeah, it's like natural. To be like, yeah, exactly. So, yeah, the last two years, like you said, it feels natural. It feels like we, you know, doing what we're supposed to do. It don't feel like nothing extra. But it means that much more when your friend is with you and, like, you know, y'all can share in the same ideas and be open to creating and feel comfortable, comfortability to create. That's

SPEAKER_03:

important. Yeah. Yeah,

SPEAKER_02:

hella,

SPEAKER_03:

hella. I feel like more than anything, this project, The Real Mark Anthony, is kind of like the fruits of our labor that we put in for the last two years. You feel like this is it? Yes. Not it, but you know what I mean? Yeah, yeah, yeah. To this point? Are the hard work paid off? 1,000%. To this point, 1,000%. I feel like even when we first began on the first project, Endophonic, something had clicked at that point. Something had clicked for me, I know. As a rapper, as an artist, I know something for him. It felt different? Yeah. Yes, yes. It felt like a- We didn't get a chance to talk to you about that. We weren't pottying. It was a little break. But Ain't No Fair Tales, I know you were saying how you were trying different things and you feel like you're getting in a better flow. I remember on the last one, too, we kind of asked you about the typical artist stuff, like you're writing beat first, all the typical shit. But you said something click. Do you mean like- Like, you feel like you just know what to do. Like, you go in there and just, like, it's like LeBron on the court now. Like, you know what I mean? The IQ's there. Like, is that how you feeling? Using that analogy with sports, it's like, you know, when the game slows down. Yeah, bro, naturally. It's probably how, like, for you as a fighter, sometimes a fist might slow down your head. You know what I mean? Yeah. As a fighter, shit, like a flow state. You know what I'm saying? Like a flow state. That's dope, bro. Obviously, it's like, you know, trials, tribulations, still trying things and still, you know, trying to push myself. You know what I'm saying? Push myself and push myself. I feel like, yeah, I just got more comfortable. More comfortable and I know I really honed in and locked in on really just my process and my craft and just songwriting more than anything. Yeah. rather than just rapping, songwriting. Yeah, that's dope. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So then, and like, yeah, bro, I'll say more, yeah, it's more comfortable. Songwriting more? More comfortable. How do you feel like you're, I was telling Newman off mic, I was like, bro, I felt like, I don't know, I thought you got like sharper, bro, like. Exactly. I don't know, man, I don't know how to put it, but like, shit, that single you put out with B-Town. No Marks. Yeah, No Marks, bro, we played it on the pod, I think like when it first came out. And I was like This nigga Marcus Has always been smooth But like This nigga sound sharper Like You probably know You know who I'm talking to Obviously But I'm like Yo this nigga Thank you bro Yeah like This nigga as a fan Like now as your homie Now as a fan I was like This nigga's been in the gym I was like Exactly Exactly That's the best way to put it I've been in the gym bro I've been in the gym And just refining Just chipping away at it Yeah And And yeah bro We've been at it. Nah, bro, I appreciate that. Yeah, yeah, yeah, bro. She got anything from you? Nah, I just like the analogy you guys use, you know, the sports analogy about getting into the flow state and everything. Because it makes me think, too, to even get there, it's about consistency, man. You know what I mean? And just putting in that work on a regular basis. And that's kind of what I admire, too, about being able to create art with your homies. I feel like it's a certain level of accountability there. you guys could uh have for each other you know what i mean so it's like even on the uh i talked about on the pod before man um it's i feel like getting better is all about doing the things you don't want to or doing the things you like doing even on the days you don't feel like doing it though yeah you know what i mean so i i think that applies with just like anything in life it's just interesting and it's just uh i guess too i just want to ask like like um What's the music-making process looking like for y'all? How often do you guys get together in the studio? How does that look,

SPEAKER_02:

man? Man, we try to get in there every single week at least. Yeah. you know, now that I have a little studio in the back of my house, you know, we got a little spot in the back that we kind of converted into a small studio. So now, now we got, we got our own gym. Like you said, I'm the plug. I'm saying, yeah. So now that we have that, honestly, every week, at least, at least two to three times, like, you know, it gets busy. Niggas got jobs. Niggas got family. Niggas got stuff going on. But, It's an every week thing. We talk about it a lot. It is like the gym. Bro, you want to see progress? The best of them are in the gym five times a week, putting in hours, bro. You just got to clock in. You got to stamp that punch card. That's true, bro. You know what I'm saying? So that process is, yeah, it's a weekly thing. It's an everyday thing almost. That's facts.

SPEAKER_03:

I remember DMing Marcus a little bit. And we're just like, we don't always talk about this. It's like, you know, it's like, damn, niggas didn't make it because they stopped. You know what I mean? And it's like, bro, taking like, being like a whole year away from the pod, it's like, and then coming back like this strong and like seeing the receptions, like, damn, like, you know what I mean? It's like, oh, niggas has tapped in. It's just, we didn't have it right the first time. You know what I mean? So it's like, I appreciate you guys. Like, bro, y'all haven't like, Like I said, we didn't get to talk to you guys last time the last album dropped. But like, bro, y'all dropped a second project now. And I'm like, bro, y'all kept that shit up or something. I appreciate y'all. Thank you. That shit's tough, bro. Yeah, man. I can't put this shit down. I'll be honest. I can't put this shit down for my own sake, for my own mental, bro. Like, it wouldn't allow me to put it down. I do want to ask you, because following you, obviously, and you guys can check out Marcus's Instagram, Marcus California, stuff like that. You do do other stuff outside of rap, bro. And you got the bad friends. Shout out to the Orange County OC's native.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Shout

SPEAKER_03:

out to those brothers. You do a little modeling, bro. I did want to ask you about that, man. Do you plan on expanding that at all? Because, like, you know what I mean? Marcus, we know you, bro. Hey, we know Marcus. Hey, good-looking, light-skinned brother. Nah, but for real, though, do you plan on expanding that modeling career, bro? Because you've done a few things from Mitchell and Ness. I think I saw you with Dodgers. I've seen you in a few different places. I've seen you now at this point. Yeah, bro. I also feel like it goes hand in hand. Yeah? Yeah, in a lot of ways. Kind of back to the roots, if you really want to talk. Yeah. I remember you and Will had that back in the day, too. Yeah, exactly. Exactly. You know, like clothes and just as far as just like taste, you know what I'm saying, when it comes to... Seeing, you know, seeing things. It's like being creative. Is it natural to you, man? Yeah, yeah, exactly, exactly. As far as the modeling thing, like, it came about kind of just, like, organically, bro. I really didn't plan on it. Really? No, not at all, bro. So it kind of just, like, opportunities, like, came about. That shit look natural, bro. I can't lie. I've been seeing, I've been met you and that's why I'm like, Marcus, this nigga there again? Yeah, I'm thankful for the opportunities, bro. I'm thankful, honestly, to be able to, you know what I'm saying? I feel like it goes hand in hand as well because, uh, We all know nowadays you can't just be an artist. You are a brand. You know what I'm saying? You are a brand. Your image is a brand. And yeah, I'm just thankful to have those opportunities to get outside of just making music. And it also opens doors for my music as well. So, of course, I plan on expanding it and, you know, keep on working at that. Of course. But I'm an artist first. Music first? Yeah, I'm an artist first. I'm an artist first, bro. That's fair. I'm a music first. That's fair. I was like, I was wondering, because I'm like, nah, I've seen you. I'm like, that shit's dope, though, too, man. Yeah, yeah. Bro, regardless, I'm thankful to be able to do that. You know what I'm saying? Be in a position to know the people that can put me in those opportunities to be able to do that. Yeah, yeah, exactly. Yeah. And even as far as, I guess, in like... rubbing shoulders networking sense um it's a lot of the same or maybe uh parallel to a lot of the same people in the same field with the music shit you know what i'm saying it's smaller than you think um so we'll get a little bit to the album i did want to ask you um jay you produce what is it executive producer a few songs are all the songs

SPEAKER_02:

yeah so

SPEAKER_03:

um

SPEAKER_02:

How does that work? You know what I'm saying? He might play a little something, but I'll play it like this. It's just pretty much a big brainstorm. That's the best way I can describe it in a studio session. Like you just have ideas. Let's hear what it sounds like. You know, you like this sound. You're making decisions on the sounds, on the patterns. You know, let's change up the drums. I don't like that, you know. So a lot of that, that was the first time that I've been able to work with another producer and there's no ego in the room. And yeah, bro, like, you know what I'm saying? He's very humble dude, very talented musician. So yeah, I guess you could say executive produced, but some of the songs as well, FNC, I produced that just by my, you know, just at the crib, whatever. But all the rest of the songs were made at the studio. at Jay's studio in Orange County. So, yeah, that shit, you know, hands-on being in there. Was

SPEAKER_03:

it different than the last one?

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, for sure.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah? Yeah, yeah. Different process? I'll talk about it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. From Endophonic, Jason directly produced every pattern drum sound straight from his laptop and MPC. And I was very hands-on with that process as well. This step, You know, evolving from that or in the step of, you know, going forward from that, we worked with Jacob, who's also the main producer and engineer as well on the Mark Anthony, you know, the real Mark Anthony album. We kind of took a lot of our process from the first one and brought it over here and to work with someone that can is so polished and refined. And, you know, he's a very talented producer as well. Very open to try things. You know what I'm saying? Very open to try things. So it was like a back and forth process? Yes. No, not even necessarily back and forth because it was more like... It was mad open. Mad open, bro. And it was just kind of like... When we started, we didn't even know where we were going. Damn. You know? We just had dropped the last project Like I said, Jason produced all of that. But we also knew we don't want to make the same sounds again or make the same project again. We got to grow. Let's get bigger. Let's grow this more. I did want to ask you about that because you did have, I think, Pray For Me on here. That sounded like a different Marcus. Does it? That sounded a little different. It's like a little R&B feel to it a little bit. And I was like, yeah, that was kind of dope, bro. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I feel like we brought that. rawness and realness of the last project also stepping into jacob's world and along with a few other producers we work with cam the chef my brother as well and uh jeff pesos who's a very talented um producer from anaheim as well got you um and we brought all those worlds kind of their sounds and my you know our sound or we think we do together and let's make something more grand than the last thing i did something more bigger something more polished something more energy as well bouncing you know i'm saying to it and um yeah so we came up with this project and as far as like just to touch back on like in the process like jason's role not only for this project but just you know just going in general um i've seen them you know Like you said, the whole project for Endophonic was made straight from him. I've seen him get on the drums. I've seen him do his thing. Whatever he needs to do, sample this, flip this. And that's him being a beat maker, but his role is so much bigger than that. What you can call executive producing, you can call it producing. To me, it's more like a... It's almost like a coach in a sense, too. You know what I'm saying? He plays a lot of different roles. Especially for me as an artist. As far as like a... He's a vocal coach. He's an executive producer. He could be a main producer. Yeah. Or he can just be kind of like an A&R. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And just soundscape for us. Okay. Or where we need to go, you know? So that was, yeah. That's dope, bro. How do you feel you got to learn and teach yourself different types of stuff like that? Um... A lot of YouTube universities.

SPEAKER_02:

Shout out YouTube. You know what I'm saying? Graduate class of 2020. Fuck, dude. Nah. Fuck. You crazy. I ain't gonna lie. Yeah, yeah, yeah. There's a lot of information on the internet, though, bro. Dude, you know, a lot of good producers would tell me, like, I didn't go to school, you know? I didn't go to school. Some did. Some engineers went to school and stuff. But honestly, yeah, bro. Learning from other producers, you know? I think it's always big. I'm sure you talk to people that, you know, you want to be where they're at. So you talk to them like that's like, you know, having a type of, you know, what is it called? Mentor or something. So I've learned a lot of game from other producers. I got the NPC live to the one that I made endophonic off of all that music and stuff. OK, I got that in New York. from this uh white producer this white you know i mean not like that matters but you know shout out shout out all the white producers you know i'm saying whatever like y'all kind of go yeah yeah 40 alchemist ain't nothing against white i don't even

SPEAKER_03:

know his name

SPEAKER_02:

i yeah

SPEAKER_03:

no no i did it his

SPEAKER_02:

name is rent shout out rents beats you know i'm saying he's from yonkers

SPEAKER_03:

but that's how you kind of started there

SPEAKER_02:

that's how i started um getting the npc i was starting on my on my mac

SPEAKER_03:

I was on FL and shit, and it was cool, you know, but... Do you feel like... How'd you start making... What kind of sound did you use? Being in New York, were you making that New York sound there, or were you still kind of bringing that West Coast sound there?

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, I was making that New York sound for sure. It was? Okay. I was trying to make whatever. I was doing some little... You know what I'm saying? The drill. A little bit of everything. Yeah, I was fucking with some drill. Because I

SPEAKER_03:

know Mark's not really into drills. Fuck

SPEAKER_02:

no. But that's all right. But I was experimenting, but that's what I was surrounded by. But mostly it was like some West Side Gun-ish, like, I ain't going to lie, like loop samples and shit.

SPEAKER_03:

Hold on, hold on, hold on. Nah, Mark, it's fine. This dumbass nigga would try to be in New York sending me drill beats. Nigga, what? I'm like, this is cool, bro. I like this. I'm glad you're able to make these sounds, bro. But let me know when you got some for me, my nigga. That's all I wanted to say. Marcus on the Popsmoke beat? Yeah, nah. Nah, that's not for you.

SPEAKER_02:

Marcus California, not Marcus Bronx.

SPEAKER_03:

He's too West Coast. Nah, I get it. But yeah. I'm sorry. You still make those sounds though, right? Sometimes,

SPEAKER_02:

bro.

SPEAKER_03:

You still get to make those

SPEAKER_02:

sounds? Yeah, yeah. I like... I like listening to, like, Cardo and stuff. You know, who's like, I feel like that nigga's doing anything, you know? I look up to those type of producers right now. I'm a very, like, he'll tell you, like, we're a very in-the-moment, in-the-feeling type production. Like, I don't want to just pigeonhole myself into just one type of beat or whatever. I might feel inspired by something I listen to, something I see from a movie and be like, I want to go with that route, you know? So it just depends. That makes sense. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

That does make sense. Yeah. Don't want to limit yourself. No, it's true, man. Shit. Marcus on the drill beats crazy.

SPEAKER_01:

Why not?

SPEAKER_03:

Oh, shit. I want to play a quick track. We 25 minutes in. What's your favorite track on there? I got a couple. We both got different answers. Let's see. Yeah. I got a couple different ones for different reasons. All right. Well, let me hear one. Let me hear one. I'm going to play one. What you got? You played one of them earlier. I already played one? Big Back. Yeah. Nah, that's just one of mine. Big Back's one of mine. Yeah, play Pray For Me. Pray For Me? All right, here we go.

SPEAKER_01:

Take

SPEAKER_03:

a groovy ass beat, make it sound street. Take a little geek bitch, make her so free. If the Zod don't punch, we're the OG. You ain't the one, you're just a nigga with a term with her. So I don't trust them, only fuck them and I burn with them. I live and earn on my path, ain't no U-turns. I hit the party like a P with a new turn. I hopped out, hung my head in my chest out. Join the campaign, baby, I'm the best out. All the hesitating shit get you left out. But she was with it, so I fucked her like I'm fresh out. Stepping out in my fresh attire I hang with my niggas like chucks on a wire So I can light you up with some plugs and suppliers Might shake a half a point if you a constant buyer My life deep so I'm getting faded constantly I'm on the mic talking better like a wallaby I know it's love girl it's love without honesty Asking if I hit this bitch nigga possibly Trying to ask me how I feel bitch honestly I ain't never really met a nigga cold as me Make you think about the fact how you notice me Make you think about a nigga plain notice you Nigga think about the way you approach me I ain't one of these weird This game is so cold. Got some

SPEAKER_01:

scars you can see. Can't lay on the wall. That bread is for

SPEAKER_03:

How you meet this brother? Yeah, how you meet this brother right here, bro? Oh, Mash? Yeah, bro. Oh, man. Mash is that guy. Mash is that guy. Mr. Michael McDonald himself. That shit was... Wait, that's his name for real? No, no. That's funny. Nah, he was hitting that, though, bro. Nah, he's cold, bro. That man's a very talented artist. I met Mash through... Mash is a part of... Group called Brother Smack Which actually Who were in the studio With yesterday Okay Oh bro I heard some They had some shit You know my My nigga Kenny Yeah yeah I see I'll be seeing him I'll be seeing him I'll be seeing him outside I seen him outside a few times Yeah yeah Yeah I seen him outside A few times bro Yeah yeah I fucking ran into him What, you got a song with those niggas? I need it. Marcus, Marcus, I need it. Hold on, hold on. Let me talk about it. Let me talk about it. I need it. So I got to mash. Me and Mash been tapped in. Obviously, Kenny is my dog. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? From Fullerton, from the city. So I don't know. I don't know. I feel like I just ran into him multiple times. But I feel like we don't know. I didn't know you knew him like that until like later. And I was like, oh, shit. We ran into him a handful of times. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? He's got so many. Different niggas that we're mutual. You know what I'm saying? It's love, bro. That's family. That's family. So through their music also and his, you know, their music as a group, but also through Kenny, I became aware of M.A.S.H. Okay. Who's like a rapper and vocalist, you know, singer in their group. So I always kept him in mind for a minute. And he always was like, fuck with my music because Searchin', their producer, Stretch. That's so shit. Purdue Searching. Okay. So they, like, fucked with my music. They showed me love. And, you know, I showed Mash love a few times on his music and always kept it in mind, but I just knew it had to be the right track. You know what I'm saying? The right music. It makes sense. The right music for it. He dropped a song called Sex Appeal, which is, like, one of my favorite records this year. Probably, like, five, six months ago. Yeah, maybe, like, six, seven months ago. But, yeah. That song, I already had the verse for Pray For Me in the music. Okay. I just didn't know what to do with the rest of it. He dropped Sex Appeal, and I was like, hold on. I need to go hit that nigga. And that's how it happened? And that's how it happened. And shit, we've been tapped in since. Like I said, we was just in the studio with that. Have you heard that song before? That song. What was the group? Brother Smack. They just dropped the album. You were telling me about them, right? Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm on Instagram. I swear, New Moon was just telling me about them. They just dropped the album called Winning Time. Winning Season. Winning Season. That's crazy. I love their music. You were just telling me about these dudes. Their orchestration. I fuck with it. instrumentation along with just the you know i'm saying the different sounds how they like it's three different vocalists but how they put it together and just it's crazy brother y'all gotta make some some shit with them maybe that's tough bro yeah he had something like two weeks i can't wait honestly we was just we was just with uh i was with kenny and stretch last night we was me and kenny did some shit That's tough, bro. I like when the OCR is linked up, bro. It's always nice, man. Yeah, bro. For the ones that's really, you know what I'm saying? I love it. Putting the real work in. That's always nice. What's your favorite song on the track, Jay? I know Marcus probably got a few. Oh, yeah. Go ahead. I forgot to ask you about that. I

SPEAKER_02:

think my favorite one is probably No Tent. Right now, No Tent. That's the first song that we did while at the studio, which is crazy. The new studio, nigga. We pull up to the new studio. This nigga's shit is in the hills, you know, ducked off. It's beautiful. It's his first time there. And I've been hyping up Jacob Spahn's shit, so we pull up. I made sure to grab some, you know... Centenario for this nigga, you know what I'm saying? Get this nigga, have the ancestors flowing through this nigga, you know what I'm saying? That's the job of the producer, get your artist right and ready, you know? Got hella weed, all that shit. So this nigga felt like he was Pac in the booth, bro. Yeah, yeah, this nigga delivered a dope track. First fucking night we was there. Oh, shit. And we left the crib, we looked at each other like, hey, this is it. Hey, we making some dope shit, nigga. Like, this is hard, yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

Can I add to that story? Yeah, bro, please, please. Yeah, Jacob had already... You already linked with him a few times? Yeah, he had been working with Jacob. I had been working with Jason already a few times. And they showed me a few beats that they had. And I'm like, okay, I was aware of who Jacob was already. His work. And I was like, oh, you know what I'm saying? We got to make this happen. Let's make this happen. Get me in there. Get me in there. It took a little bit, you know what I'm saying? Then, like, all right, we got a session. All right, cool. All right, let's see what this is about. He's been kind of guessing, you know what I'm saying? He's like, he's crazy, bro. You know, it's real comfortable. You're going to like the vibe. I think we're going to make some magic. And I'm like, all right, cool. Pull up. We got him. You know, like you said, we doing the regular shit. Regular shit. You know, we drinking, smoking, whatever. I do a song that's not on the album. First thing when I get there. Maybe we do like another song. We there for a few hours. Then we got about, everyone kind of wants to call it. It's getting a little late. Got about like 10, 15 minutes left. Jacob just loops up like some crazy shit, which is the no 10 beat. And I'm like, hold on. Give me 10 minutes. Give me 15 minutes. Swear to God. Yeah. I was, you know, I was toe up. Nigga, I was toe up. I was toe up. Nigga, I was in my, you know what I'm saying? I felt that one in my soul, bro. I almost shed a tear making that song, bro. I really almost shed a tear making that song to that beat. I probably did, bro. You know what I'm saying? It was one that I was toe up. I'm like, nigga, I'm geeked. That's why I'm geeked up. I'm gassed up. I'm rolling. That's why, yeah. That's how that came about. He said, I really was. No

SPEAKER_02:

rap cap. She was, So it was a moment, you know, as you get those moments every once in a while. Yeah,

SPEAKER_03:

man, that's good. Albums are available everywhere, guys. Don't forget. Everyone, go stream it, baby. Don't forget. Marcus mentioned something about some songs that y'all made that didn't necessarily make the album, you know. What's, like, the selection process look like for y'all getting tracks onto the album?

SPEAKER_02:

It's a very strict process. It's like the Olympic trials, you know. Fuck, dude. Uh, it's a lot of back and forth. There's a lot of arguments. It's a lot of fucking, you know, yeah, this nigga knowing this nigga, you know what I'm saying? But it's a good problem to have. It's a good problem to have when you have a lot of tracks that you fucking, you like, and you're like, wow, this one's fucking sick. I was like, nigga, this one's sick too. You know, like the fuck, like put that on there. But really we do a good job and he does a good job of caring about every detail and how it's, how the track list is going to go and, and what ties into each other well, and just like, we have that conversation of, you know, what's the feeling, you know, what's the fucking, you know, like, our intentions with this project, okay, you know, what's the vision of the project, so all those kind of questions, you know, go into it when you're like, okay, how does this fit, you know what I'm saying, how do these songs fit, does this fit with this, like... So it's a lot of, yeah, you want to make it all sound, you know, like synchronized. Cohesiveness, exactly, exactly. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

How you feel about it? Repeat the question. Just the selection process, man, with getting songs onto the album. Like, how do y'all go about that? Yeah, a lot of what, touching on what Jason said, it's a very refining process, honestly, especially with, like, I'm so into, intentional, you know what I'm saying? Very intentional with my music and my art is how, you know, really how I look at it, bro. And, uh, especially when I work. So like, I guess the way my mind works a lot of times, it, um, kind of only allows me to make music intentionally, you know, like, uh, I can only want to work on a project or a body of music cause are just like how I see it's like a, a diary into my life right now. Yeah. You know? Um, Of course, we make songs just to make songs. I kind of just keep an open mind, too. But I'm just big on just intention and sound, scaping my next project, my next body of work. How can I evolve as an artist? You know what I'm saying? What songs should emulate that? My evolution and what songs? There might be some hard songs that don't make it because I feel like it doesn't resonate too much with me. That makes sense. You know, it didn't resonate too much with me. There's a handful, bro, of songs that didn't make this project. Hey, I got to ask you a question, bro. I'm not being like LeBron, but once you add no, give him another one. Give him another one. And I got the luck, bro. Y'all seen that clip? Give him another one. Give it. One moment. One moment. That's a deluxe, LeBron. That's a nigga. Funny nigga. That's a funny-ass nigga, bro. I do want to ask you, though. Do you believe in deluxe, maybe? I'll get into that. I'll get into that. Yeah, but just to finish that question, as far as picking the songs for a project, like I said... really just intentional and cohesiveness is big bro cohesiveness and just what resonates to my heart my soul and like um not to say these other tracks that didn't make it aren't gonna find any use but this is the vision that i got in whatever's necessary you know yeah you know whatever's necessary i like that bro um as far as the deluxe goes i'll just be i'll say it i'll say it i'll say it I'll say it. I'll say it. I don't like that. You don't like Deluxes? I don't like Deluxes. Why? What's up? You're not liking Deluxes for it, bro. I don't like Deluxes. Why? I'll be honest. I'll finish the question. With that being said, we got another project for sure on the way, ready to go with those songs that didn't make it. Got you, got you. You're just going to roll it

SPEAKER_01:

over? You're just

SPEAKER_03:

going to roll it over? Yeah, yeah, yeah. I couldn't... Get back to that point. I don't like the idea of, I'm going to drop this project again and just call it Deluxe and add a couple songs. To the end of it. It's the whole fucking album. I get it. You know why they do it. It's for the streams. It's for the streams. Obviously. As an artist. Hold on one second. Let me get my shit on. Let me get into my shit. As an artist, I'm just going to give you another whole vision. That's fair. Another whole idea. You know what I'm saying? That's fair. Not to say like, That's cool. I get it. I get it. Some great songs come on Deluxe. Some. But most times, nigga, it's trash, bro. It's trash. You know what I'm saying? You're just milking this shit, bro. Be an artist, nigga. Run the streets up. But like I said, bro, we got all the songs during the sessions that didn't, you know what I'm saying, within the last year that didn't make, but I know... That they resonate with me and I want to get these out. There's a place for you. I wouldn't sit right if they didn't make the cut. You know what I'm saying? Or if they didn't see the light of day, it wouldn't sit right with me. We're putting them together right now as we speak to get it ready. You know, to drop.

SPEAKER_02:

Yo, the real Mark Anthony Deluxe dropping soon. Coming soon, baby. It will be out streaming everywhere. Yes, sir. Yeah, yeah, yeah. We're going to get them streams up. A four-pack, baby. We're going to sell out. We're going to run it up. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, yeah, yeah. We're going to run it up. We got Marcus California merch coming out. Yes, sir. Yes, sir. The Real Mark Anthony Part

SPEAKER_02:

2. Yup, yup. Deluxe. Wait for it, baby. We on the way. You're

SPEAKER_03:

killing me, bro. You guys are killing me. Need that. Need that cheese, man. Yup. Milk it. I'm going to milk it. Yeah. The four pack, bro. Yeah. Get the four pack. I see that. You know what's crazy? The four pack could just be like beats. It would not be like songs. It could be just four beats, nigga. Just go listen to those four beats a few times. Run the album up again. Just to reinvigorate them. I ain't against money, you know what I'm saying? It's instrumental. Yeah, yeah, yeah. For the vinyl. We want to do a vinyl. That

SPEAKER_02:

wouldn't be a bad idea. Yeah, instrumentals. That'd be kind of hard. People do that. That does

SPEAKER_03:

that project justice. Yeah. With that project, it could work. It could work. Shit, man. It should be kind of tough, bro. Yeah. I don't want no... No? You don't want niggas to rap on your beats? Why? It's exclusive? You don't want your shit to be on YouTube? Marcus got player type beat? Try it. Try it, nigga. Yeah. Try it. I'll tell a nigga, try it. Let me hear it. I mean... Nigga, where you get this from? It's my beat, nigga. Nigga said it's my beat. It's my shit. It's my shit, dude. I know a nigga can't do what

SPEAKER_02:

I do. Bro, you sick. Y'all done segway into something else? That's my beat. Hey,

SPEAKER_03:

Marcus going to give us a freestyle later.

SPEAKER_02:

Freestyle coming. Coming soon. We need that. Newman, don't be shy. What's up, baby? Talk

SPEAKER_03:

to the air. What's up, man? I feel like all this sports talk, man. All these sports analogies with the music. Maybe we want to get into some sports.

SPEAKER_02:

Off mic, we had a lot of sports talk. You all right. We've been talking. All right, bro. Big inspiration, Ilya Teporya. You watch a lot of UFC, right? Oh, hell yeah. All right, man. Talk to me. You know, that's current. Yeah, bro. What you think about the GOAT right now? You calling him the GOAT? He might be the GOAT. That's the recency bias, though, bro. That's the recency bias, bro. Best three-fight win of all time. It's cool. Yeah, it's

SPEAKER_03:

impressive, bro. But the GOAT conversation, bro, we got to show it off. Ten more wins, bro. Yeah, man. You know, because it's really people out there did it longer, bro. You know what I mean? I definitely respect it, though. He's one of the most dangerous dudes on earth right now. He's an absolute dog. Y'all be like watching UFC and basketball. Y'all be making music. Y'all be chilling, too. Y'all be distracted in there. Nigga, if you really, honestly, most times there's some sports going on. I ain't going to lie to you. I feel like for Studio Central, it's probably like As far as visually sports. Some tree. Of course. All that. I'm sorry. Sports on the TV. Keep the girls out the studio, Marcus. I don't know. Look, look, look. If you ain't got a... Marcus, keep them. If you don't serve a purpose, you might not find your ass in my studio. Keep them out the studio, bro. Chill out. Chill out. He's a Newman. I love this guy. I miss my brother. Man, I know Marcus forever. Me and Marcus used to argue about Celtics and Lakers and shit. And this nigga's, oh, my granddad's a Laker. I'm like, oh, this nigga's granddad was on the championship. Oh, not championship. He played with Jerry West and shit, though. I'm like, and Wilt. This nigga Marcus talking about Lakers suck. I ain't gonna lie to you. I was all Braun growing up. I forgot. That was the Braun era. I saw a little Braun growing up. Nah, I feel like a lot of our friends are like that, bro. Yeah, I was all Braun growing up. I had to argue with everybody. I had to argue with everybody. Southern California, bro. Like, Laker shit, obviously in my blood. But it's Braun, though. Yeah, it's Braun. I love Kobe, but nigga, Braun was Black Jesus, girl. Nah, he was an OG Cleveland fan before they betrayed him. Really? You were? Bro, honestly, I wasn't a Braun fan for a minute, bro, because I was still... OG. I was a Cleveland fan, but even like the first time he left, bro. I think I remember you hating on Braun. Yeah, bro. I used to hate on Braun, bro. After he left, he hated on me. But you know what? It's really, bro, just the longevity of Braun, bro. It's hard. You can't deny. Yeah, bro, it's hard. You can't deny the greatness. And then he went back and gave them the ring. Yeah, you know. Ah, that's what got me back. You can't deny the greatness. But you know what? I really did. I was hating on the fans who came back to Cleveland, though, afterwards because it's like, nigga, I was supporting Cleveland, you know, when it was Alonzo G on the squad. You know what I mean? Back when niggas picked up Anthony Bennett first round, bro. I had to be a fan. You were. Wait, wait, no, no, no, no, no. Hold on, hold on, hold on. One second, one second. One second. No. You stayed a fan after that. He was riding, bro. You know what it was, bro? Kyrie. Newman, who told you you had to do that? I didn't want to be grouped in with the rest of the dick riders, bro. He wasn't going to Miami, bro. He wasn't going to Miami. Newman refused to go to Miami. And I respected it because he refused to go to Miami. I'm still against the super team, bro. That's really what it was back in the day. I didn't like the idea of the super team, bro. I'm still against it, man. Alright. I respect that take. But again, I can't diminish Braun's greatness. I'd be a liar. I'd be a liar. Strike me down. Strike me down if I'm over here. It was a lot easier to hate on Braun the early years in Miami before that nigga went to 10 finals in a row. You know what I mean? It was a lot easier when it was like, yo, you lost to Dirk. You know? It was cool. It was easy, bro. 10 finals in a row. I ain't got nothing to say to that. Nigga, I mean, bro, we've been seeing this nigga since I was in... Bro. Elementary. Young, bro. This nigga. Young. Nah, Bron's a go, bro. I get it. I argue with Bumani, all the homies growing up, bro. Oh, yeah. I got it. I got why niggas was diehard Bron fans. I'm a diehard Laker fan, so I'm going to go against it. You know what I mean? That's all. I'm going to go against it, bro. But niggas was right. Niggas was right though. Niggas was right though. Niggas was right. Niggas was right. Niggas was definitely righteous. Niggas was right. Yeah, bro. Yeah. Like LeBron. Shit. I don't know, man. I know people say, okay, see, they got the same exact team. I don't know. DeAndre is a good player, but... Bro, don't even talk about that. Bro, Lakers not contending for shit this year, bro. We're sure going to the playoffs, but I don't think we're winning nothing. I don't even think y'all going to the playoffs. Y'all going to be playing in. Nigga, we went to the playoffs with Jackson Hayes. We'll be back. Y'all going to be in a play-in, bro. Nigga, we was in the third seed last year with the worst team. I'm still not buying it, bro. Because, again, I know the Lakers, bro. Every year, y'all going to go on a little losing streak. Nah, 80's gone. There's going to be some trade rumors, bro. The game changing every year, bro. The game do change. I feel like the game is evolving and growing every year, and these niggas kind of are complacent. Yeah, we don't get the news. Again, Lakers just want quick results, bro. You know, they not willing to build around no rookies or nothing like that, bro. So it's hard, bro. It's new ownership, though. I know. He's definitely not serious, bro. He's spending money, though. I mean. Not serious. I'll tell you this. The Lakers can't be down for too long. They ain't never going to be down for too long. Because they're going to spend money eventually. I don't know. I don't know if I'm believing in Luka on the Lakers, bro. No, Luka's solid, though, bro. I don't know if that's going to contribute to long-term winning basketball. Bro, if Luka can take that Mavericks team, I think Luka and Brian. That was different, though. That was different. Again, Mark Cuban, that's a smart man. Yeah, he got some lob threats. On building teams, bro. He knows how to build a team. He also got lucky with Lively. I don't think it's luck. I think, bro, it's consistent, bro. Bro, the Mavericks have been. They're a decent at drafting. They have some bad years, though. They have some bad years. Like all people. They stick with it, though, bro. They stick with it. They're going to build some players. They drafted Brunson. That was a really good pick. Yeah, that's what I'm saying, bro. Bro, I feel like they got a good head on their shoulders when it comes to building a team. And then they got to hand the Cooper flag, motherfuckers. That's what I'm saying. I hate that. They know. Fucking rigged.

SPEAKER_02:

I think fucking Lakers, bro. They had to. We got Luka. It's not going to happen right every once. Nah, we're not going to win nothing. But we got the Golden Goose, bro. Luka's the Golden Goose,

SPEAKER_03:

bro. Luka's a good player, though. We're going

SPEAKER_02:

to be

SPEAKER_03:

solid. He's one of the greatest fucking players, bro. You don't defend, bro. You don't got to defend. He do got to defend. In this era of the NBA, bro. In this era of the NBA,

SPEAKER_02:

bro. I mean, when you're putting up a triple down, if your

SPEAKER_03:

other nigga get 15, 20, it's going to cancel out, bro. Now that we're here, a lot of those stars really don't defend, bro.

SPEAKER_02:

Honestly, Brian, bro.

SPEAKER_03:

All of them. SGA defend. SGA defend. He's decent. The MVP defend. He's a decent. Come on, bro. Hey, stop playing, bro. I seen a

SPEAKER_02:

white skin nigga. Wap, wap, wap. What's his name? Nembhard?

SPEAKER_03:

I've seen Nembhard shake that nigga. It's going to happen. I'm not saying Nembhard. He tries. I've seen Nembhard shoot that nigga. It's hard to be locked. He's going to win two steals a game, bro. Shay couldn't do shit with that. Luka gets steals. Luka don't get no steals, bro. It's not the way you think. Luka's a fucking crybaby, bro. He turns over the ball. He's walking back on defense, bro. I don't like seeing that type of basketball. Where did this nigga go with his narratives, bro? He's watching the game. There it is, bro. Pass the games, bro. Is he great? Is he great? Yes, he is, bro. He's great at offense, bro. Yes. He's a great offensive player, bro. What is offense? Essentially scoring? Yeah. Scoring. That's the name of the game, bro. Passing. Is he great? Because it's still, bro. It's still rebounding. It's still defending. He's good at rebounding. He's good at rebounding. All right. Which star do you know? Do you know that? Has his output offensively. And is a great defensive player? No. And is a factor defensively. The only person I'm going to say is Kobe. That's it. Kobe's the only person. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Lakers legend. Kobe's the only person. Kobe Bryant. Nigga, LeBron James back in the day, bro. This is top three ever. All the great players. Again, we said Lucas is great. LeBron, no. I love LeBron. We said Lucas is great, though. That's why I'm expecting. That's what comes with greatness, bro. In my mind, when you're a great player, bro, you got to be great on both sides of the ball, bro. But no... No, you got to be decent on one side of the ball. Okay. Because honestly, you got to be decent. You got to be decent. He's lazy. Bro, again, teams go and they purposely try to attack Luka. But I think this is also like a newer thing. We wasn't saying that one year, one, two, three. We said once he got a little chubby. What about Kyrie? He tries. He's decent. It's the same thing. It's the same thing. He's a cone, bro. He's fast. He's fast, though. What about Beard? Kyrie's undersized compared to a lot of these cats. Who? James Harden. Beard. He hates James Harden. He hates James Harden. I'm a James Harden hater, bro. I'm a James Harden hater, bro. Jason, take the fucking mic. He hates James Harden. You got me on wax. I hate James Harden, bro. He hates James Harden. I hate that play style. It's one of the greatest scores to ever touch the rock. Worst MVP ever, bro. If we be for real. No, that's KD. You know what? No, my bad. It's Steve Nash. That's KD, bro. I'm sorry. That's KD. It's Steve Nash and then James Harden, bro. Worst MVP ever, bro. Blast. No, Steve Nash. Blast. Steve Nash. Bro, I used... Again, it's revisionist history around here, bro. I watched James Harden play, bro. Horrendous. Horrendous. Yeah, nigga, off of 12 free throws a game. It wasn't 12. And then doing that traveling ass step back, bro. And then that traveling ass step back. It wasn't 12, but it was a lot. 14, my bad. It wasn't 14. Bro, it wasn't anything less than 10. Bro, again, James Harden, bro, again, it's revisionist history. James Harden, bro, he was King Flop back in the day, bro. King Flop. But, Newman, you know every superstar averages about 10 free throws a year. Harden's one of the greatest scorers ever. I'm just throwing that out there. I'm just throwing that out there. Every superstar averages about 10 free throws a year. They was calling that nigga one of the best scorers before the flop shit. I watched James Harden play. They was calling that nigga one of the best scorers before the flop shit. That's what I'm saying. Okay, that's whatever. He was tearing niggas up. You can go ahead. He still has. He was still getting bouncy. He was good before the bounce back. He's not MVP without that bullshit step back. No, that's not true. That's not true. That's not true, dude. That's not true, dude. No, no. No. That was later. Watching James Harden play was horrendous, bro. It was every time he would drive to the hoop. He didn't even have intentions of scoring. He was trying to interlock arms. That was later on. He's trying to grab it. That was later, though, bro. He out here just throwing the ball up. But that was later. Okay, what about before that? Bro, it's horrendous basketball to watch, bro. You're talking about like three years. What about before that, though? It was detrimental to the game, bro. Nigga, Bron did it too, though. You watch all these new niggas play now. That's why Jason Tatum plays the way he plays. Bron did the same thing. He's watching James. What about SGA? I love SGA, bro. He's bringing back that early 2000s play style. Hell yeah, he is, bro. That mid-range merchant. The middie merchant. Stop playing with SGA like that, bro. Stop playing with that man like that. Nah, bro.

SPEAKER_02:

That nigga be flopping. He has intentions of

SPEAKER_03:

scoring the ball. Hey, they gonna, bro, they gonna foul him because he's really driving to the hoop.

SPEAKER_02:

SGA, you will flop, nigga. I like SGA. Y'all

SPEAKER_03:

crazy, bro. Y'all crazy, bro.

SPEAKER_02:

You're a flopper. You're a great scorer. You're a great player. You're the MVP. But you're a flopper the dolphin, my

SPEAKER_03:

nigga. Fuck out of here. Horrendous, bro. Okay, yeah. Fuck no. He averaged 11 free throws a game, so. I don't push shit, niggas. That's kind of normal, though, bro. I don't push

SPEAKER_02:

shit.

SPEAKER_03:

AI was getting to the rack. I watched James Harden play, bro. It was horrendous, bro. It was horrendous.

SPEAKER_02:

Okay, but all right, the Luka thing. Hold on, hold on. Let me at least say this. You think he's better than Tyrese Halliburton?

SPEAKER_03:

Luka? Do I think Luka's better than Halle?

SPEAKER_02:

Okay,

SPEAKER_03:

then. Whoa. You don't think he's better than Halliburton? Hell yeah, he's better than Halliburton. He's for sure better than Halliburton. Halliburton will have a donut in the game. Halliburton's not consistent. That nigga's never

SPEAKER_02:

having no... He's averaging 35. I don't think Luke is better. Is Halliburton a lockdown defender? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Killed it. Done. All right. Y'all see it first. Y'all heard it first, nigga. Luke over Hallie. Don't cap for the people. Yeah, yeah. And that nigga took a pretty good...

SPEAKER_03:

He got you, bro. He got you, bro. He got you, bro. He got you. You're not going to try to make it seem like I'm not a fan of Hallie, though, bro. I fuck with Hallie, bro. I love Hallie's game. I fuck with Hallie's game. I fuck with that Pacers organization, bro, because, again, I'm not a fan of the super teams, bro. I like the built teams, bro. That's what the Pacers did, bro. They had Miles Turner for 10 years. They had Bill. Benedict Matherin

SPEAKER_02:

for a while. They did it the right way. I'll give them that. Bro, that's what I'm saying. They traded for a side Siakam. The

SPEAKER_03:

only niggas they picked up, bro, was Siakam, bro. And again, if we be for real, Siakam, that's not making it a super team right there. No, no, no. Stop, stop, stop. He got an all-star. Stop, stop. We're not doing this. Siakam's not making it a super team. Siakam doesn't complete their team. He does. He does, but he doesn't make it a super team. No, that's not super team. They're already making it a super. That's not super. That's not super. But they need him. without Siakam, I don't think they don't do these runs. All teams need a really complete roster and I felt like Siakam was a good pick. Not a complete roster, I meant a complete player. That was a good pick right there. When Holly Burton has a donut, Siakam has 30. Yeah, what's wrong with that? I'm just saying you didn't need him. But I'm not going to say that's a super team. No, no, no. That's my whole point. It's not a super team. That's my whole point. It's not a super team. That's a built team right there. That's it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. He's a good player. They did a great job. They got one key piece in Siaka to really put him over that edge right there. Indiana can't even have a super team. Yeah, they can. That's a built up team. That's why I tip my hat to them. That's a small ass market, nigga. Nobody like. I respect it, bro. It was good to see. I respect it, bro. I find the closest they got was that Paul George era. That was an interesting year, too. But LeBron James, bruh. And that's why it's interesting to watch the East right now. The East is open to anybody. Yeah, who y'all got coming out the East next year? I can't even tell you. New York. New York. New York. They supposed to. They supposed to. Boston's down. That second apron shit fucking niggas up, bro. That second apron shit's awful. Holly's out, sadly. I don't know how I feel about Milwaukee either, though. What y'all is going to do? They got some pieces, bro. Nah, they got Miles Turner. That's the last one where they went and got Miles Turner. I saw today they got Cole Anthony, who's a solid guard. But honestly, when you have a nigga averaging 32 and 14, that

SPEAKER_02:

ain't going to

SPEAKER_03:

do

SPEAKER_02:

it. Yeah,

SPEAKER_03:

it will. Nigga, what's the name? Y'all forgot. Who did Giannis win with pre- Peace out. Peace out. Peace out. Didn't they have Drew? Didn't they have Drew? That's what I'm saying. Them niggas had a team. They had Drew, right? They had Drew, yeah. True. I love Drew Holliday. He's a key piece, bud. Because honestly, the moment he left to the Celtics, they won too, so. Yeah, he contributes to winning basketball. He a key piece, bro, I can't lie. He a key piece, he a key piece. But I'm saying, he didn't need no niggas to score 20 points is what I'm saying. You just got to do your role, to be honest. But I think, bro, it's hard, it's hard though to really get a team to where you got everybody buying into their role. You got to build that up. Yeah, of course, of course. You can't just go and pick people out and just think they're going to buy in, bro. Sometimes, sometimes. You got to build players up to get them to buy in, bro. You know what I mean? It's rare. Right now with Milwaukee, I don't know. I don't know how I feel. Giannis is not happy, too, bro. All it takes in the NBA, bro, again, for niggas to go on a losing streak, bro, and then you start hearing them trade rumors, bro. And we know that messes up morale in the locker room, bro. You know it does, bruh. They be talking about it forever. Yeah, because, again, a nigga like Cole Anthony, bro, that sound like a real tradable nigga to me. Yep. That sound like after a 10-game losing streak, it sounds like, yeah, you know, that's a nigga we can get rid of. You know what, Kevin? You know what, Kevin Porter? I don't need you no more. And this nigga new talking. Come on, bruh. This nigga new. He said I sound like a real tradable nigga. That is a tradable nigga. But all you need is to play his role, though. I'm saying if you can get people to play their role, guys like that, they got to bounce around a few times. You should learn how to play your role, hopefully. So we'll see.

SPEAKER_01:

Y'all

SPEAKER_03:

is going to average 32, 15, and 8. So if you can play your role, play some defense. But sometimes that's not enough. Yeah, I guess you're right. It's not enough. I guess you're right. And again, too, what happens if Giannis gets injured, nigga? You know what I mean? Happened two years ago. Bro, if Giannis gets injured, 10th seed, nigga. That's what I'm saying. 11th seed. It's not enough. I like Miles Turner, but he ain't about to be a leader. Yeah. It's like he goes Shaq mode and the guy was 34-50. Miles Turner goes Shaq. Nah, that's not happening. You know what team I am? Who you like? They're just so stacked, bro, to where I feel like I can't. The Rockets, nigga. Yeah, it's the Rockets, bro. The Rockets is looking so deep, bro. The Rockets look dangerous. And they got, bro, because like I said, I've been a Jalen Green hater for a while, bro, because it's not about basketball for that nigga, bro. Bro, he's about bitches, bro. He's about, nigga, it's a fashion show with these niggas, bro. It's not about basketball. They got him up out of there, bro. It's about basketball.

SPEAKER_02:

He want to be a model. You know what I'm saying? That nigga want to, he want to model. He want

SPEAKER_03:

to, Get him up out of here, bro.

SPEAKER_02:

He's fucking Dre.

SPEAKER_03:

Niggas was on him because it was like the potential, the potential, bro. Again, he's not dialed in, though, bro. It's almost like Zion, bro. You know what I mean? Zion could, bro, could have been the GOAT. Niggas not locked in. They not locked

SPEAKER_02:

in. It's not about that. Zion's horny ass need to chill, man. That big nigga need to relax, bro. He eating more than just boiled crab. Bro, stop. Bro, stop. Yeah, yeah, man. Stop. Yo, Big Z need to relax. That's

SPEAKER_03:

what I'm saying, bro.

SPEAKER_02:

That nigga got an appetite for everything, nigga. I

SPEAKER_03:

ain't gonna hold you. Oh, stop, bro. What's wrong with you, dog? All the potential. You got lust. You got lust for that. That's the lusty nigga right there, bro. And that's what I'm saying. Like, when I see that OKC team, them niggas is locked in. OKC might run it back. They might run it back. When I think about even the Knicks, they ain't gonna win it, but them niggas locked in. Bro, OKC's so locked in. OKC's not. They heard some rumors and said, you gotta go Josh Diddy. So you got to go. Bro, that's what I'm saying. Rumors? Get me up out of there, bro. Get his freaky ass up

SPEAKER_02:

out of there. Not Josh Giddy, Josh Diddy. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You got to go. Get him up out of there. You got to go,

SPEAKER_03:

bro. The Giddler, nigga. The Giddler. Bro. Nah, you're right, bro. OKC was not playing. Nah, you're not lying. OKC wasn't playing. Yeah, those teams, bro, where they got everybody's locked in. They about basketball winning, bro. I believe in them, bro. But, like, it's so many of these new niggas, though, bro, to where it's not about basketball for them, bro, because they got the NLI money, bro. And even then, bro, just the general just, bro, the average player is just making so much more than they did 15 years ago, bro. Too much. You know what I mean? Bro, the role players is pulling in$20 million. And they're gambling. You know what I mean? Don't get me started on that. Yeah, bro. Yeah, bro. But I even think about, bro, there's so much talent out there like LaMelo Ball, for example. That nigga's a baller, bro. Can't get it right either. It's not about basketball. He got a new one every week, man. That's what I'm saying. It's not about basketball. Now, you know what's even sicker? He's not, bro. Honestly, nah. Nah, nah, nah, nah, nah. You know what's sicker, though, bro? How, like... All these, like, older... These young niggas is not... These niggas is not doing that. It's a new era, bro. These niggas do not like Kobe like they say. All these, like... These niggas do not like being... There's no mama mentality, bro. There's no mama in this league. Bro, because all these new niggas, like, bro, for some reason, all these, like, old school, like, video vixens and, like... You know, those type of women. They're all preying on the young nigga for some weird reason. I don't even think it's that, bro. I think it's the money, bro. You're getting too much money, bro. Again, why would I need to be locked in? Because I get it. No, no, no. If a nigga's going to pay me 25 mil a year and I don't even need to win. Nigga, I get it. Okay, nigga. Come on, bro. I get not being locked in. But nigga, why are you going for the girl who's 40, who already got kids, who you've seen fuck Drake, Kendrick, Big Sean, you seen her fuck five niggas, and now you want to go. I don't want to think about the psychology behind it. Like, why, nigga? But I know they just not locked in. If it wasn't Dre, it was going to be another bitch, bro. It was going to be somebody else. Nigga couldn't marry another athlete, but no. Like, why? Niggas love whores. What you mean? Niggas love whores. Niggas love whores. You crazy? You thinking about why, nigga? It's not that hard, bro. Who's going to treat you better? Yeah. Bro. Come on. Nah, starting a family with Dre is crazy. Bro, come on, bro.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, bro. She's a

SPEAKER_03:

vet in the game. A vet in the

SPEAKER_02:

game, bro. What? She hit him with... Yo, she hit that nigga with the back down motherfucking turnaround jump shot, nigga. That's what she hit that nigga with. That's her. She a vet. Baby girl put it on, man. Dre put it on him, nigga.

SPEAKER_03:

Dumb, young, dumb nigga. Got pregnant? Yeah, get over here, stupid. It's her rap. I saw a stat. It said her son and G-Ling are in the same age. They both like 23 or some shit. Yeah, bro. And I was really thinking. I was like,

SPEAKER_00:

nigga.

SPEAKER_03:

Yo, stepdad. Man. Hey, man, she's. Marcus is serious, too. That's crazy. Yeah. But that's what I'm saying, bro. Yeah, bro. You crazy? That nigga could have got any girl. Nigga, we the same age. You pull up to my crib. Get my mom pregnant. All right. What are you saying? I didn't even know that. She had kids same age as them. That's why everyone like makes jokes. That's the whole running joke is like, bro. Dre was out the game, bro. Like she's already 40. Like she already had her kids. She got a son though. Yeah. And now she got, now she got another, now she got a one year old with Jalen green. Yeah. Wow. Your little brother being 23 years younger than you.

UNKNOWN:

Bro, stop.

SPEAKER_03:

I can't. I can't even talk because I got a baby sister that we 20 years apart. The

SPEAKER_02:

real Mark Anthony. The real Mark Anthony. Senior. I'm sorry, nigga. Respect. Bump the shit.

SPEAKER_03:

That nigga knew a blindside me with that one. I

SPEAKER_04:

couldn't

SPEAKER_03:

even say nothing. I'm like, motherfucker. Seriously? Different scenarios. Different scenarios. Yeah, exactly. It's not the same. It's not the same. He's still outside. He's still outside. I love my baby. I love my baby girl, man. But can you imagine if like... I don't know, nigga. Imagine... Your dad's woman's the same age as you, nigga. It's like, nigga, what? That's different. I'm all right, nigga. I guess your mama's different. Nigga, you're a little more protective of mom. You're right. You're a dumb nigga. You want a dumb young nigga? I know how these young niggas is, dumb nigga. You old nigga, you can't take the stress. I can't do it. Nigga, how you going to do it? That's what I'll tell that nigga. I know how these young bitches going to run you crazy. You don't know this shit, nigga. This ain't the 80s. This is different. These hoes is different. These hoes is different, nigga. Nigga, what? That's crazy. But yeah, different scenario, man. He got a- Yeah, that's true. That's true. They got to love him. You know, they got a family. Yeah, mom love protect. You got to blow up, protect the mom. Love protect the mom. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Because yeah, bro, Jalen got a new stepson, same age, bro. That's crazy to me. I'm with Marcus, though. Nigga do got to die. We the same age, bro. You back my mom, you got to die. You'll go missing, bro. You'll miss it. Nigga's just- I don't know. Nigga's just- Maybe he just moved like that. Oh, shit. You can just kill me at the basketball talks. Nah, Newman hates James Harden. Newman got along with some niggas he don't talk to. I hate James Harden, bro. Again, it's the revisionist history, bro. It's the top five talks. It's the revisionist history, bro. It's because niggas say James Harden's top five, and he don't like it. James Harden's not top five. Shooting guards, yes, he is. Yeah, no, he's not. He don't like it. He don't like that. What else do you hate? James Harden specifically, bro. Yeah. But honestly, bro, he's top five, bro. He's like six. See that this nigga hate him. He's like six. Maybe he's top ten. He's top ten.

SPEAKER_02:

Newman awoke when we brought up that James Harden. Newman came alive. Bro, because that's

SPEAKER_03:

some shit that's really, especially since we just had the CP3 combo on the last episode, bro. Facts. And it's like, bro, all the common CP3 never wins shit. James Harden ain't never won shit, nigga. You know what I mean? A lot of niggas never won shit. He

SPEAKER_02:

won.

SPEAKER_03:

He got one MVP. He got one. To me, that's controversial as fuck. No, it's not. That nigga was traveling for, bro. Bro, stop. He traveled the whole season, bro. He traveled the whole season, bro. Newman got to stop. Everyone travels now. No, hey, stop with the everyone. No, they don't. No, the fuck they don't. What, what? Everyone travels now, Dave. Yeah, everybody. Bron? Bron don't travel. Stop. Bron travel. Bron don't travel. I love Bron. He didn't win a whole MVP off of traveling. Yes, he won a whole. You know, you're right. He won it off of carrying. You're right. He wins it off of carrying. Bron's a carrying king. That nigga carries. That shit not even travel. It's not traveling, bro. No, I'm talking about the stepbacks not even travel, bro. Hey, the stepbacks. Hey. It's not travel. Bro, again, Adam Silver's letting the NBA go to shit for the views, bro. We already seen that shit don't slide on the international level, bro. That shit don't slide on the international. They don't let that shit slide. Niggas are literally just getting better at basketball. It's not better. It's not better. In that case, you're just yes. Bro, he just reinvented the game. He didn't reinvent the game. Nigga broke the rules. The nigga literally took the rules. He literally took the rules. Okay, okay. Nigga took the rules. What about when you do it properly? Because they let people do it now properly. Who's doing it properly? Luka. It's bad. It's bad. Half the time, Luka's getting away with a lot of troubles too, bro. In the playoffs, somebody did it kind of crazy. I forgot who. Lucas been away with a lot of travel. It was Holly. Holly be traveling too. Nigga, it's a travel. But the thing is, my whole, nigga, my whole, all these niggas is traveling. My beef with James Harden specifically, though, he won a whole MVP off of it. Yes, he did. Yes, he did. Newman, we can't act like he didn't drive to the basket, though, bro. And again, was hooking niggas' arms, grabbing their face, smooching niggas on the way to the basket. No, no, no. Get the fuck out of here, bro. I'm watching the games, bro. I'm watching the games, bro. Y'all not gonna hit me with that. I just brought the stats up. I just brought the stats up. SGA and Jim Harden both had 11 free throws a game. Again, that's not the stats though, okay? Yeah, it's 11 free throws a game. The way they get in the free throw is completely different, bro. I think they're similar to me. No, it's not. I watched the games. I watched the games. No, James Harden got more four-point plays, I think, because of the step back. I watched the games, bro. You're not going to try to trick me right now. I watched it back in the day. It was horrendous, bro. Stop, bro. On top of that, too, on top of that, bro, because the thing is, too, y'all only remember when James Harden cooks, bro, when he gets hot. Alright, when James Harden's not on, bro, it's horrendous to watch. I remember when that nigga went three for 30, bro. It was horrendous. It was horrendous. In the playoffs. It was horrendous. That shit was terrible. It was disgusting. That nigga done stunk shit up in the playoffs. Bro, he terrible. Stunk it the fuck up, man. That's the only thing. I just can't. I came. He's a regular. That's the one thing I can't argue. He's a regular season baller. I fuck with beer, too. He's a regular season baller. Yeah, he's a regular. Bro, regular season guy, bro. Regular season guy. Bro, he does not. He doesn't contribute to winning

SPEAKER_00:

basketball.

SPEAKER_03:

I want you awards. Even beyond the MVP. And let's say, all right, it's not a trap. James Harden doesn't contribute to winning basketball. He does. He's not making the players around him better, bro. He's not. The only reason he even went to the Western Conference Finals that year, bro, was because of CP3. True. And Chris Paul got hurt, so they lost it. Yeah. They had a team. I can say that. They had a team, though. They had Dwight. They had a team. They had a team. Eric Gordon, Dwight, Clint Capella. They had a team, man. I can say it, bro. They for sure had a team. Good team. But I think Chris Paul was like the, obviously he's the point guard, so he kind of, he led the team. That's from, bro, James Harden, not even my top five, bro. Bro, James Harden's six. Get that shit up out of here. Yeah, he can be six. He's not top five. He is top five. He's probably not, actually. I got Klay over James Harden. I

SPEAKER_02:

got Klay greatest all time. You know why? For fucking Meg now. Wait, what? Shout out Klay Thompson. They got him a good sister, bro. Got him a good one. Klay, that's the best three. That's the best shot that nigga ever took right there. That's so

SPEAKER_03:

random. Nigga fucking with Meg now. I don't know if he wants to do that, bro. Yeah, why? Rock Nation. What? Rock Nation. He about to rock that nation, nigga. That's what

SPEAKER_02:

he

SPEAKER_03:

finna do. Bro, what? Klay gonna end up in jail. Klay. Good move.

SPEAKER_00:

That

SPEAKER_03:

shit ain't gonna last. Respect. Klay, put a baby. It's for the... Nah, I'll be a tall-ass baby. That's what I'm saying. That's a good three guard right there. That'll be a big-ass baby, dawg. Better breathe that. Y'all ain't breeding Meg? No. Just because the pods on these ain't... Y'all ain't breeding Meg. Meg says... Bro. No, I'm just... I love my girl, bro. Yeah, that too. Y'all not going to play me like that on the mic, bro. They love you here first. My niggas love that girl. Burr, burr, burr, burr, burr. Even... Oh, man. Even without that... Oh, man. Meg cool, but... Like, bro, make mad drama, nigga. Not too much, bro. Not too much. She's mad drama, nigga. Not too much on the styling. Bro, she's mad drama, dog. If y'all want a toxic girl, hell yeah. Who the baddest bitch in the game? The baddest? Yeah. Is she? She's too toxic, bro. She's not the baddest in the game? I don't know. I fight people. She is. Who? Tyler. Is that the fucking Caribbean girl who said she's not black? Did she say that? Some shit like that. They all say that, though. They all say that shit, though. I'm Dominican, not black. They all say that. Yeah, they all say I'm Dominican, not black. They all say that. Y'all got it. Y'all got it. Y'all got it. Jesus Christ. Yeah, she the baddest in the game, bro. She the baddest woman in the game, all right? That's right. Ain't no bitches over here, all right? I salute her. I salute her, dude. I salute her, bro. I salute her, bro. I salute her, bro. Oh, man. He said... Nigga Newman said... He said, don't play with me. That's a good man. Newman's a hilarious, bro. Nah, but I fight niggas... I fight niggas... I don't know. Niggas do put a lot of sauce, but... Nigga, from what I've seen, she mad drama, nigga. The Tori situation, she always the best friend situation. Nigga, the baby situation. Nigga, I just think three niggas, she was fucking, it was all drama. Y'all niggas want to go get with that? It's cool, but that's a lot of drama, brothers. You need to be drama-free, brother. Don't AAC. You see, you're getting distracted by ass. You see Jason? Look, he's getting distracted. He's getting distracted. Hey, look at Jason over here getting distracted. That's why. To pop out with it too? Jay, you're getting distracted, brother. You need a good woman that's going to be like, Jason, go work on beats, baby. See, that's what you need, bro. Stop.

SPEAKER_02:
